Boundless Fundraising is used by many non-profit organizations to raise money through
Facebook. If you need help with some aspect of the Facebook integration, please search for a solution below.

Why isn't the Donate My Profile Picture feature working?
During the week of 3/21/11 Facebook changed the minimum image size requirements for the Profile picture. We are currently in the process of updating all of our images to comply with these new requirements and should be finished by mid April.

The goal and/or amount raised on my Boundless Fundraising badge
are not accurate. What can I do?
Your badge will be updated periodically, usually once per day. You can press the "refresh" link on your badge to update it when you like. It takes a few moments to complete.

Sometimes things get into a state that will require you to reinstall the application. Please take a moment to try the following steps:
- Log into Facebook
- Click Account->Privacy Settings in the upper right
- Click "Edit your settings" underneath "Applications and Websites"
- Click "Remove" unwanted or spammy applications.
- On this page, you can click the X next to applications you want to remove
- A confirmation popup will appear
- Add the application again from your "My Participant Center" or "HQ" for the event in which you are registered. If you share a computer with someone who also participating, be sure to log in to your accounts only

How do I add the Boundless Fundraising badge to the profile tab
in Facebook?
As of 10/13/2010, Facebook has removed the option to install new tabs for applications. Please continue to fundraise using the other options on your fundraising page.

How do I get to the Facebook fundraising page for my
organization?
It may be that Facebook will display a bookmark on the left side of your home page. If
not, you can get to the canvas page by performing the following steps:
- Login to Facebook
- In the left side of the home page, there is a list of your bookmarks
- You may have to click "More" to make your bookmark appear
- Click on the name of the organization that you are supporting

A donation was made on my behalf, but I did not see a stream
story (news feed). Why would this occur?
There are several ways for stream stories (news feeds) are triggered. Automatic ones
are limited to one per day, but you can create your own any time on the Facebook fundraising
page.
Another possibility is that your Facebook permissions maybe set incorrectly and we
cannot send stream stories (news feeds) on your behalf. Try reinstalling the application:
- Log into Facebook
- Click Account->Privacy Settings in the upper right
- Click "Edit your settings" underneath "Applications and Websites"
- Click "Remove" unwanted or spammy applications.
- On this page, you can click the X next to applications you want to remove
- A confirmation popup will appear
- Add the application again from your "My Participant Center" or "HQ" for the event in which you are registered. If you share a computer with someone who also participating, be sure to log in to your accounts only

How can I update my profile picture to be that of the event's
logo?
Utilize the "Donate Your Profile Picture" feature. From the canvas page, click the
event's logo located in the section titled "Donate Your Profile Picture".
- Navigate to the Facebook fundraising page
- Click the photo of the event's logo located under the title "Donate Your Profile Picture"
- Once the logo is uploaded, click the "Go To Album" button on the Photo Upload dialog box
- From your Facebook Photo Album page, Click the uploaded photo of your event logo.
- Click the uploaded photo of your event logo again.
- Click the "Make Profile Picture" link located to the lower right of the event logo

How can I create a stream story (news feed)?
There are four ways you can create a stream story. From the Facebook fundraising page,
you can utilize the "Get the Word Out", "Share Your Badge", "Share Your Story" and "Donate Your
Profile Picture" features.

I used to be able to place the Boundless Fundraising badge onto
my profile page.Now I only have the option to place it on its own tab. What am I doing wrong?
Nothing. On July 12, 2010, Facebook began the process of removing boxes from user
profile pages. This eliminated the option to place the Boundless Fundraising badge directly onto a profile
page. The sole option became to place it on its own tab located at the top of the profile page.

Does the Boundless Fundraising application
support more than one event?
Yes. The ability to install more than one Boundless Fundraising Facebook badge is
supported. If you have more than one event for your application just keep using the "Fundraise with Facebook"
links for each event. A dropdown will appear on the Facebook fundraising page to select your events.

page?
No. Currently you can only place the Boundless Fundraising badge on the tab on your
personal Facebook profile page.

How do I change my goal?
You will have to do this at your organization's fundraising event site. Changes made to your goal there will appear on Facebook after you refresh your badge. It may take a minute or so to appear after pressing the link.
